Photo A Day Experiment (PADE) Day1: Alone
What can be a better start to an Event than a picture from Varanasi.
This picture I shot few years back in Varanasi, in November - when it'd just started getting colder. Winter was at doors with a pleasant not-so-cold not-so-warm weather. This is the time, birds from colder regions of World, Siberia, Russia, migrate to relatively warmer places.
Shot on Nikon D5000-55mm, this picture is one of my favorite as it portrays a fight against the society (buildings on ghats in background) that needs to be fought alone (the bird).

Fight is always Alone when against the Society and its norms |
